I have been using bounty for a few months now. Heard of the app from a relative. I think it’s pretty cool to redeem bounty points and get shopping vouchers. The fact though is that I do not get too many points around my area of residence/office (Ulsoor). I would have been really happy if I could earn more bounty points.
I was planning on buying some jewellery for Dasara/Diwali, which is when this offer from eJOHRI came as a pleasant surprise – http://goo.gl/b6an7y
I got an eJOHRI voucher from a friend, who redeemed her bounty points! I didn’t have as many bounty points. I loved the design of the pendant and bought it using the voucher.
I looked at how the cost worked out. Gold rate then was Rs. 2940/- per gram and at 2.07 grams, the pure gold pendant (22 ct, BIS, hallmarked) by weight alone would have cost me Rs. 6085/-. Add a 12% wastage + making charges, which would have been about Rs. 700/-+. Totaling about Rs. 6700/- in the market (minimum). Not to forget my time and effort!
With bounty points, I had an eJOHRI voucher for Rs. 2000/-. The pendant cost me Rs. 5200/- and that’s a good Rs. 1500/-+ savings, thanks to bounty points! What’s not to love! 🙂
Here’s my review:
Value for money: Great (5 stars)
Delivery: 12-15 days (2 stars)
Packaging: Good (4 stars)
Choice : OK, decent (4 stars)
Overall: 4 stars since there was a bit of to & fro in terms of delivery and communication.
But as far as value is concerned, I am very happy!!
