How often do you find a homely place that lets you sit down, stretch your legs, and relish some great food?!
Not very often! Here’s where bounty comes in, to help you discover such fabulous places, in every part of Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad!
On the recommendation of the bounty team, some friends and I headed to this quaint little café called “Chaipatty”.
Nestled above the Royal Enfield Showroom on 100ft Road Indiranagar, tis part of a chain of the same name.
As the name says, this place is highly renowned for some brilliant chai and amazing food.
Though I had heard quite a bit about this place, I never really expected it to surprise me so well, with the variety in terms of food and flavours!
With a gang of 5 girls, I entered to the tunes of some popular hindi tracks, smell of some warm food and the ambience? Well, what can I say?
Dim lighting, good enough to read, low armchairs and cushions on the floor to lounge and some ethnic décor, giving me the fuzzy feeling of a monsoon day in mussoorie!
So that was about the place! Now for the FOOD! 😀
We ordered almost everything on their menu, food, beverages et al.
The momos – to die for! But spicy for sure!
The variety of maggi dishes – cheese, veg, chicken! A generous helping of each that too 😛
Too bad, what with the recent events around this much loved indian food!
Ice teas – peach, strawberry and a personal favourite – lemon!
Cutting chai and masala chai are a must for all those chai lovers out there 🙂
And, how could I forget their Corn Churmurs?! Spicy and just brilliant! And in all probability, a completely unique dish, attributable to this Tea Café or “Teafe” as they like to call this place 🙂
Friendly on your wallet, with most dishes being priced within a hundred.
A delight to vegetarians and non vegetarians alike 🙂
A charming place to have a little date, or just laze around with friends 🙂
They have quite a few fans too! Check it out 🙂
Verdict : A must visit if you are put up anywhere within a 30km radius 😛
Plus, you get bounty points when you visit here 😀
