Yes, that’s what Amitesh calls me! The rationale this tech savvy kid claims behind the nickname: my technologically challenged brain. Truly ridiculous if you ask me, however maybe true as well.
I concede, I am not super-efficient with my smartphone, laptop and other gadgets. In fact, I would use just my index fingers to type a few months ago :p
Further testatement to my struggle with the gadgets, is my usage, rather, my lack of usage of the GPS technology. As a part of my job, I drive myself day in and day out to different clients all over the city. Most of them being on the outskirts of the city, I had a hard time navigating, but I would manage, thanks to the Indian Local GPS, the system of asking auto walas :p ( Trust me, there is nothing more accurate! )
But then, yesterday came the turn of the century for me :p I tried using GPS to reach Madivala from Hebbal. (For those of you clueless about this, these two places are in polar opposite parts of the city). I was blown away! There it was, talking to me, giving me directions, asking me to take the service roads, go over the flyover, stay on my left and so on…along with taking me to my destination perfectly!
Come to think of it, MeDine as well, is another example of technology making things easy. Bang on location detection, points redemption within 24 hours and what not! Sounds so complicated! But the people at MeDine make it so simple and so user friendly, that I never have to break a sweat! After all, my only effort is in checking in whenever I visit a restaurant, and clicking on the *Thanks* button and I get my points!
Simple enough for the Dino in me, swag enough for the sophisticated individual in me!
Am I tech savvy now?!
You bet I am!
